Tour Overview

On this safari, you get the chance to indulge with the more than 300 gorillas known to inhabit Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park – roughly half the world’s population. Other primates’ resident here include chimpanzee, black-and-white colobus monkey, red colobus monkey, gray-cheeked mangabey, L’Hoest’s monkey and blue monkey. Other animals found here include Elephant, giant forest hog and duiker and over 345 bird species.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Wakiso District.

Arrive at Entebbe international Airport where you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to the hotel.

Overnight. Protea Hotel Entebbe.

Meals included: Bed & breakfast.

Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve.

An early breakfast, transferred back to Entebbe International Airport to catch your morning scheduled flight departing at 07.00hrs to arrive approximately at 08.45hrs to Kihihi (baggage allowance is 15 kg, per person, in soft sided bags). Upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to the lodge. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve – Gorilla trek in Bwindi.

Breakfast and take a short transfer to Bwindi National park headquarters where you will meet up with excellent local guides, rangers and trackers, who will brief you on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, hike into the forest with your packed lunch. Return to the lodge and afternoon at leisure.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve – Entebbe.

After breakfast transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for a scheduled flight to Entebbe departing at 09.45hrs arriving at approximately 11. 25hrs. Connect to your onward flight.

Meals included: Breakfast.

Arrival airport transfers as per itinerary
Accommodation in standard room on BB in Entebbe and on Safari. FB on safari as indicated on the itinerary
Exclusive transport in custom-made 6 -seater safari land cruiser driven by an English-speaking driver/guide
Game drives in Lake Mburo NP as indicated.
Gorilla permit (Quoted separately).
Schedule one-way flight Kihihi/Entebbe – baggage allowance is 15 kg in soft duffle bags.
Park entrance fees and activities as per itinerary
Unlimited bottled mineral water in the safari vehicles
Emergency medical evacuation by flying doctors – all hospital bills to be settled by the client directly

Gorilla & Chimpanzee permits are confirmed once payment is made to Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA).
Permits are issued on first come first serve basis.
Gorilla Permits are based on current Government Park Tariffs.
Park fées is subject to change without prior notice.
