A 6-day private safari to Kenya’s three of the best conservation areas and where incredible rhino sightings is guaranteed. A chance to find the rest of big five i.e. lions, elephant, buffalo and leopard. The only chance to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and the last two of the northern white rhinos at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, while in Kenya.

On clear mornings the magnificent Mount Kenya, the second highest mountain in Africa, at an elevation of 5199 meters above sea level can be seen. Lake Nakuru national park is a sanctuary to both white & black rhino and the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Lake Nakuru is a bird lovers’ paradise with over 450 bird species recorded inclusive of thousands of flamingoes, pelicans, cormorants, fish eagle and ostrich.

The incredible Masai Mara with endless savannah plains and the meandering Mara river and Talek river is a spectacle to behold especially during the months of June to October when over two million wildebeest and zebra attempt to migrate from northern Serengeti to Masai Mara in what is the ‘world’s greatest animal migration’. This trip can be arranged all year round and can be tailor-made to individual requirements.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Pick up from Nairobi hotel or international airport and drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx. 3 hours’ drive). Arrive at camp for check in and lunch. Time to relax in the afternoon before setting out for another game drive in the evening.

Meals included: lunch, dinner.

Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Breakfast, set out for a morning game drive with visit to the Chimpanzee sanctuary included. Continue with game drive with plenty of black rhino, lion prides, elephant, zebra and the majestic giraffes. On a clear day, you can view the 3 peaks of Mount Kenya, the highest dormant volcanic mountain in Kenya – at 5199 meters above sea level. The conservancy is also home to the last remaining northern rhinos. Lunch at camp. In the evening your guide will set out for another game drive. This day you have an option of having a night game drive (at an extra cost) where you can have a chance to view the nocturnal species like leopard, Aardvark and honey badger.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Lake Nakuru

Breakfast at camp, check out and drive to Nakuru (approximately 4 hours’ drive), with a brief stop at Thompsons Falls. Proceed your journey and make another stop at a tea plantation where you will receive a short lecture on tea growing. Arrival at the lodge for lunch. Lake Nakuru National Park also serves as a sanctuary for both white & black rhinos and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.

Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 4: Nakuru – Masai Mara

Breakfast, check out and drive through the scenic Mau Narok Road to Masai Mara (approx. 4 hours). Game drive on the way to your camp arriving for lunch. This endless savanna is home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, several lion prides and other big cats, plenty of birdlife. During the months of June to October, close to two million wildebeest and zebras move from Serengeti to Masai Mara in what is arguably ‘the world’s greatest migration’ and the 7th wonder of the word. Evening game drive, return to the camp for dinner.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 06: Masai Mara.

This day you have an option of a full day game drive with packed lunches. alternatively depart after breakfast for a morning game drive, return to camp lunch and relaxation before going for another game drive in the evening.

On this day you can opt for a hot air balloon ride or a visit to the Masai village – both optional and at an extra charge.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 7: Depart

Leisurely breakfast, park and check out. Drive to Nairobi (approximately 5 hours). Lunch and visit to Karen Blixen Museum at Nairobi before transfer to the airport for your international departure flight OR flight to Mombasa for your beach stay.

Meals included: breakfast & lunch.
