A private safari to one Kenya’s most popular park. Amboseli national park boasts of huge elephant herds with large tusks. A chance to experience 4 of the big five animals i.e. elephant, lions, buffalo and the elusive leopard. A short hike up the ‘Observation Hill,’ at an elevation of 1150 meters above sea level, the highest point within the park offers excellent panoramic and uninterrupted views of the park.

On a clear day, get to view and photograph the imposing snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain at 5892 meters above sea level. A visit to the seasonal lake Amboseli offers one a chance to view different bird species with over 400 different species recorded inclusive of over 40 birds of prey. Learn the ways and traditions of the local Maasai people by visiting at local village. Trips to Amboseli can be arranged all year round.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Pick up from Nairobi hotel after breakfast or Jomo Kenyatta international airport at 08.00hrs and drive to Amboseli (250 km – approximately 4 hours), arriving your Camp/lodge for check-in and lunch.  After lunch enjoy a late evening game drive.

 

Meals included: Lunch and Dinner.

 

Day 2: Amboseli

Early breakfast and set-out at 07.0hrs for a half day game drive at Amboseli National Park. Visit the observation hill – the highest point within the park from where you have panoramic views of the savannah. Return to the camp/lodge. Rest of the afternoon at leisure by the pool or alternatively go for a late evening game drive.

 

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

 

Day 3: Amboseli – Depart.

Leisurely breakfast, park and check out. Drive with game drive enroute Nairobi (approximately 4 hours). Lunch and visit to Karen Blixen museum at Nairobi before transfer to the airport for your international departure flight OR your hotel/residence.

 

Meals included: breakfast & lunch.
