Tour Overview

This safari goes to two of Kenya’s private wildlife conservancies which promote high levels of sustainable travel. Stay is in small intimate and luxury eco-lodges which observe high standards of responsible tourism. The main focus is on conservation, leisure, culture and local community-led initiatives with low impact on the environment. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the only place where you can see the last 2 remaining northern white rhinos and an opportunity to visit the chimpanzee sanctuary. If lucky one can get to see the endangered wild dog. Extra activities at Ol Pejeta Conservancy include but not limited to horse riding, lion tracking, cycling safari and night game drives. At Naboisho Conservancy, a community run private conservancy where gains from tourism benefit the community either directly through land leases and employment or indirectly through funding medical health-care institutions , women empowerment programmes and educating local children. Naboisho Conservancy is an integral part of the Serengeti /Masai Mara ecosystem and forms an important migration corridor where animals can move in and out of the Mara reserve. There is a great concentration of resident animals within the conservancy including lions, cheetah, elephants, leopard, hyena and plenty of birdlife.
