Tour Overview

This itinerary has been carefully designed with much emphasis to individuals with a specific interest in birds. Kenya is a top destination for every ’birdwatcher’. With the varied landscapes, from open savannah to the tropical rainforest of Kakamenga, fresh-water and alkaline lakes of the rift valley to the semi arid north of kenya and the long coastline, there’s habitat supporting over 1,100 species inclusive of the migratory species. Kenya lies on the equator ensuring  greater opportunity to find both the northern and southern bird species in one safari. A specialist drvier guide and proffesional local bird experts accompanys you on guided walks. Apart from birds, there’s a better opportunity to see the big five animals, i.e. elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino and the visit to samburu presents a chance to see the samburu special five of Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich and gerenuk – all exclusively found on the northern part of Kenya. The trip can be arranged all year round and can be customised to fit individual requirements.
